In observance of World Health Day and with the aim of making healthcare services accessible to all, Aster Prime Hospital—one of the city’s leading healthcare institutions—organized a free health camp on Monday at Next Galleria Mall in Panjagutta. The camp ran from 9 AM to 7 PM and witnessed a footfall of around 5,000 people, with over 450 individuals availing themselves of expert medical consultations and services.
The camp offered various health check-ups including weight, height, blood pressure, random blood sugar, hemoglobin, and eye tests. Based on doctors' recommendations, further diagnostics such as ECG and 2D Echo were also conducted. General Physicians Dr. Sameera and Dr. Lavanya, along with Cardiology Dr. Pavan Kumar rendered their services during the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Devanand, CEO of Aster Prime Hospital, said, “The theme for this year’s World Health Day emphasizes that a healthy start leads to a hopeful future. Taking care of one’s health is essential for a better tomorrow. These days, many people suffer from issues like hypertension and diabetes irrespective of age, which can lead to serious complications. Everyone should undergo a comprehensive health check-up at least once a year to catch any potential problems early. At Aster Prime Hospital, we have specialists from all departments and state-of-the-art medical equipment. We encourage everyone to make use of these facilities and safeguard their health.”
