This event was driven by a shared commitment to advance early detection and foster a supportive environment for breast cancer survivors. Attendees gained insights into advanced breast cancer screening, including new and sensitive tests designed to improve early detection rates, which is crucial as breast cancer prevalence is on the rise in India.

There is a concerning trend in India, where the incidence of breast cancer among young women is on the rise, accounting for 10-20% of all breast cancer cases. The most common age group presented is between 35 to 40 years This increase calls for the imperative need for early detection and screening, as breast cancer in younger women often presents with more aggressive characteristics and at advanced stages, leading to modest outcomes.
